Wonderware Information Server and Microsoft SharePoint Services is the central platform for the development of Web Portal using the Wonderware products. This platform accommodates development of elaborate dashboards using webparts or Table Weaver components.

To add to this the application is enhanced with the integration of reporting using Microsoft Reporting Services or Excel Active Factory Reports. Additionally web pages developed in ASP.NET are hosted in the portal. The information server provides security for the web application by providing an API using COM Plus components to integrate with the Active Directory security of the hosting corporate network.
